Get Smart is an American television comedy series that was created by none other than the great Mel Brooks. It is very hard to talk about comedy films without mentioning his name because his contributions to the film industry are enormous.

The entire series was focused on a secret agent named Maxwell Smart, whose character was done by Don Adams. He is known as Agent 86 among the organization and he is never alone when he works on a case. It is Agent 99 who is a young lady and the whole seasons never tell anything about the real name of Agent 99, which made her probably the most mysterious fictional agents on the screen. The Agent 86 is the main character in the whole series and his spy role is exceptionally good. Due to his peculiar mannerisms, he often gets underestimated by his enemies, which will give him an edge over investigations.
He uses several identities to fulfill the role of a spy and is well known for losing attention during a secret investigation. For the same reason, Maxwell is not taken seriously by his enemies that will ultimately leave him with an advantage. The entire series is spoofing James Bond films, with sophisticated gadgets in Maxwell’s hands. One of his best communication devices are the shoe phone, which is basically the shoe he wear but with a telephone under the sole.
The humor reaches its peak when Max appears as the greeting card agent, one of his undercover roles. The Get Smart DVD of this blockbuster program was sold in several numbers and the program is a kid’s favorite even today. Being attacked by criminals more than often, he has to tell a lie to his landlord and he tells the landlord that he works as an insurance agent; and as a part of his profession, he also worked for IRS which brought him many enemies. The story goes interesting with a complex history associated with Maxwell and his beautiful colleague Agent 99, who is quite useful in Maxwell’s operations because of her beauty.
